Event Description

Join the Foundation for Dane County Parks for a groundbreaking celebration at Mendota County Park on Tuesday, April 29 at 1PM. Made possible through generous support in honor of Karen and Tom Ragatz, Mendota County Park will soon undergo a complete and transformative renovation, enhancing the park’s amenities with a new shelter, accessible playground, walking path and more! Be the first to see plans for these exciting park updates that will expand access to nature and recreation with enhanced natural landscaping that will preserve the beauty of the park and support local wildlife. With a focus on inclusivity and accessibility, these newly upgraded facilities and features will be safe and convenient spaces for people of all ages to gather and play. In the heart of Middleton on the north shore of Lake Mendota, this is the beginning of a new chapter for Mendota County Park and the vibrant future it holds for our community! All are invited to be part of this special occasion and will have the opportunity to hear from local representatives and community leaders, including Dane County Executive, Melissa Agard. See you at the park! 🌳🎉
