At their 5:30pm meeting on Thursday, Dane County’s Health and Human Needs Committee will hear presentations from both Dane County’s Department of Human Services and Journey Mental Health.
The presentation from Dane County Department of Human Services will focus on providing updates on 2021 behavioral health initiatives.
"There is important work taking place to improve behavioral health resources for the residents of the County. I look forward to hearing an update from our staff on what has been accomplished and what policies and actions can help support this work moving forward," said County Board Supervisor Elizabeth Doyle (District 1), and Chair of the Health and Human Needs Committee.
The second presentation will be from Journey Mental Health and will include an update to the committee on their response to the pandemic as well as other initiatives they are pursuing.
"The pandemic has made us all think and function differently – I am interested to hear from Journey Mental Health on how they’ve responded during the pandemic and what we can do in our respective roles to help achieve shared goals," said County Board Supervisor Elena Haasl (District 5).
Members of the public are able to attend or register to speak at the virtual meeting by following the instructions at the top of the agenda.
